My Arnhem concert report (december 9) Paul at Gelredome

I'm still very tiered from the concert. But I do try to tell my Arnhem concert exipireince.

Frist of all my drear husband and I went with out car to the station of Nijmegen to pick up the train that rail to Arhem. It was a ver short trip that only lat 15 minutes. Ten we pick the shuttle bus nr 7, also a short trip and we came with this ot the stadium Gelredome. It is still very urly so we both went to the very neat MacDonalds for out inner boddie. (sorry ifd I offend meat eaters on this board, but I do like a BIg Mac menu.
The rain was very soft. We did have to wait a long time beauwe w where to early/ The secrurity wan not srtict, but the opossite.Very friendly.
They have been told me that I can keep my camera (a very good one). That was not a problem. So I was happy to make some photos of Paul.

The stadium was an sell-out and that mean 30.ooo peeople. The report of someone on this board that is wasn't a sell out was wrong. I have seen it in full becaus did have veru good seats.

Macca's voice was in veru good shape and spoke a lot of Dutch and that was sopmething the Dutch audience greatly appreciated.

The show was very impressive to me, but I did know the setlitst already becasue I did have the new Deluxe Good Evening New York package.

Only on thing I di miss now: I did bought the beautifull concert book (cost 15 euro and a photo 6 euro. Whe we did left the building I did forget my bag. So, now I have not a tour prgram (Good Evening Holland) in my possiion. BUt I'm still very impressed on the whole show.
Rusty, Brian, Wix where great.

As Paul did say and the end:
"Tot de volgende keer. See you next tim

On this day :John Lennon is shot and killed

On this day in 1980, John Lennon, a former member of the Beatles, the rock group that transformed popular music in the 1960s, is shot and killed by an obsessed fan in New York City. The 40-year-old artist was entering his luxury Manhattan apartment building when Mark David Chapman shot him four times at close range with a .38-caliber revolver. Lennon, bleeding profusely, was rushed to the hospital but died en route. Chapman had received an autograph from Lennon earlier in the day and voluntarily remained at the scene of the shooting until he was arrested by police. For a week, hundreds of bereaved fans kept a vigil outside the Dakota–Lennon’s apartment building–and demonstrations of mourning were held around the world.
